
ABOUT ME
Dr. Mitchell completed her Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Central Florida. Prior to the completion of her terminal degree, she received a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Duquesne University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania and a NBCC Board Certified Counselor. She is presently an Assistant Professor at Wake Forest University, where she (a) assists in the development undergraduate and graduate students, through counseling curricula and advising; (b) maintains an active research agenda; (c) and participates in professional service.
